My Exomax has eaten a cocking aid...and yes I always uncock as opposed to firing a hunting arrow with a broadhead into a tree.

Not as much wear as I see in the pictures, but there is a fair bit.

Sorry for the slow reply on this, I was away for a few days. I have never seen a stock ever worn that badly from a rope cocking aid. I also do not remember ever seeing that crossbow back here for warranty. Please call us at 800-463-1817 to discuss the problem further.
