Help with my scope

Post by tharris811 »

Ok 1st thing I have had my scope about 3 years and love it..It is a dwilight dlx it has been great. But today I had it out shooting the eye relief was awful. When I got it so I could see thru it if I moved my head at all it went black are fish eyed .. I shot the bow couple weeks ago seemed fine then .I just don't remember it being this bad..I did try to adjust it but did not help..
Question did it go bad are am I doing something wrong?
thanks in advance

Simple fix ! Remove scope lens covers, take scope out of rings, place Leupold of choice in rings, put scope lens covers back on. I dont think anyone here on the forum that has ever taken the step to a Leupold wants to go back.jmho You dont have to go to the higher grades of Leupold scopes either. The VX-I scopes are great scopes.Dont worry about brightness or illumination, Leupold is bright enough to see before and after legal hours.

What Flightattendant100 said or what Hankenhunter said. Both are correct, your choice.

If you're shooting with the HHA your cheek weld will change. The scope is mounted higher and the eye relief may need some tweaking and getting used to.

Its not mandatory. On the lower powers parallax isnt an issue. But the shotguns scopes shorter range parallax correction doesnt hurt either.I am not afraid to find a really clean used one on ebay at a bargain either. You will thank yourself.

Call Danny. My Excal scope failed so Danny let me swap it and a few $$$ for a new Leupold scope.
