nice mount . we don't have any more grouse on the island . use to have them but all hunted out. DNR won't let have any more.

he did one for my brother who hunts with us as well.he also taught me a very easy way to dispatch birds without damaging them by squeezing with your thumb and index finger right behind the wings.

for me birds are not that hard to do . when you skin them use corn starch if you want to eat them to absorb the excess .you don't want to wash them if you don't have to. you mount a big bird just like a small one.
