Good afternoon all. I'm new to the forum. My dad just recently bought me a matrix 380. I'll tell you, it's a huge improvement from my Barnett. Just shooting one day at the range I will never go back to any other crossbow. Looking forward to getting and adding input when possible. Hope everyone enjoys their day.

Hi everybody,

I just joined the forum. Got my 380 last week! I always thought people writing to forums saying how great there new widget is, was a bit lame!

Anyway this Crossbow is awesome, its my first recurve, and I'm a convert after one week, never going compound again. I can't say enough good things about this bow.
I guess this is a bit lame!!!!

One thing guys, I see some post about strings resting on the REDS. But I am still not sure how to fix. Am I right in using the string changer to cock the bow, and then just put a couple of twists in the string, is it that simple?

Happy hunting everybody
