VX-R Issues

Post by sullyy »

I pulled the trigger on a new VX-R today.

When I bought it the guy behind the counter said he didn't recommend it on a crossbow and that there were issues with the scopes being able to handle the high impact and hold a zero.

I haven't read anything like that on this site, or anywhere else for that matter, so was wondering if there is anything to this? I know the guys here love them haha. I bought it anyway but thought I'd get some feedback before using it.

Thanks a bunch!

I just put one on my 380 a week ago and love it. These guys on here have been using them for a while and I remember reading a post on here where someone called Leupold and they said any Leupold scope will work on a crossbow. I think your safe. Besides if it doesn't hold up there's going to be some A$$ WHOOPING around here LOL. Leupold lifetime warranty.

X2! That guy is nuts. Any Leupold, right down to the Rifleman line-up can handle anything any crossbow can dish out.

I have a VXR 2-7x33 on my 380. I even had Leupold reset the parallax to 40 yds for me. It's handle at least a 1000 shots to date...

The counter fella, obviously doesn't know what he is talking about, doesn't like Leupold's or both.

I called Leupold years ago and found out every Leupold scope will handle the reverse recoil found in air rifles and crossbows.

Here are a few Leupold testing videos.
