Deer Camps Comin Together

Post by RexKay »

Well folks, been doin lots of cleaning, excavating, township, and county permits done, etc.. The Amish got my little cabin and shed done. Delivery was yesterday, so bolted outta work early and cruised up for the much anticipated arrival. I think its real nice. And it's on skids and not a permanent structure, It keeps the taxes low.I'll seal and waterproof and stain 1st. Wiring, paneling ,insulation ,flooring I'll get to over some time, but it looks just how I had hoped.More Work!! :o Here's a few pics.

That's absolutely beautiful! What a great looking little cabin. Wonderful. Now you just need some deer hanging from a meat pole and it'll look perfect!

Hey Boo, I'm guessing there aren't any Amish neer Booland. :( that'd look great at the farm...for out of town guests traveling across the country to visit.

Yes I am. Anyone know what would be best?? I researched Flood UV stain sealer...had good reviews... Any input would be nice.

Your hunting cabin is looking pretty awesome.

I have a friend of mine that is a painter and I have cedar siding and he recommended Woodscape for my house but he also told me Flood UV at Lowe's works great on bare wood and thats what I'm going to paint all the rest of my wooden fences with. The Woodscape has been on my house for 5 years now and still looks great.

That looks like a great retirement job for me awesome place you have there.
