Henegar 405 Custom Blackout

With an up and coming bear hunt with Big John around the corner I wanted to build something special so I went to work on machining a Exomax mainframe to 405+ specs. After I was done, (this took less than half an hour using simple tools), the mainframe was sent off to have it black anodized to give it more Blackout appeal. The way I see it the factory grey anodizing does nothing much on a Blackout and all black means business.

The Henegar stock needed no special fitment and only the front stock to mainframe attachment needed to drilled and tapped, that took two minutes.

Next, the Stirrup and riser received matte black powder coating and the Danny Miller String stoppers got lightened, the mount post was wrapped in 3M Carbon Wrap for some bling.

It shoots as good as it looks. A Leupold VX-R 2-7 takes care of view and a 2.5 TriggerTech with red lever touches everything off.
