Ready-Shot Knee Pod

Post by Big Woods »

Anyone try this? I know a regular monopod or bipod is likely more acccurate but I already carry too much stuff to the woods with me and I just don't see myself hauling a longer mon or bipod around, whereas this thing is short and light and would appear to be simple as well.

Thoughts??

Thanks!

I use Bobs ready-shot, and I like it a lot. I won't go hunting without it.

I've been looking at this. Is it constructed of aluminum? How does it extend and lock? Great idea!

Looks cool. I personally use the bipod. and as far as mods and people not liking them I'd like to point out its our duty as hunters to make the safest cleanest kill as possible. If using a rangefinder helps make that difference from a gut shot to a heart shot than shouldn't we all have one. It's bad enough with mods that sometimes something happens and an animal suffers for the night or more. but hey if me being a cheater means my animal is hit and dies quickly. Than fine I'll be a cheater its for the sake of the animal it deserves the best death we can give it.

Happy hunting

Does anyone know if Mr. Watkins still sells the ready-shot? His web page didn't come up for me and being new to the forum I cannot PM him until I'm approved by a Board Administrator. Not even sure how to contact them :(

Bob,

I'm interested in buying a Ready shot but can't figure out how the PM works on this forum.

I'm pretty sure you need a minimum of at least 5 ( maybe a bit more ? ) posts before the PM option becomes available to you.
