After some practice on old shafts, this is my first go at making my own arrows. Went with the .001 BE Zombies, 18", with Lumenoks. No fancy wraps and bling, just hoping to make an accurate arrow that flies good and hits where I aim. I like to shoot in the 375-390 grain area with my 380, but with added weight of lumenoks I was aiming for a 400 grain total weight including 125 grain broadhead. I made 3 with Lumenoks and 3 with weight matched regular nocks. I tried the set screws in the nocks but the ones I had weren't long enough to add enough weight. The Bohning flat nocks weigh about 9 grains each and the lumenoks average out to 27.5 gr so I had to add roughly 18 grains to the plastic nocks. I ended up super-glueing 2 Beeman Crow Magnum pellets in each nock to match the lumenok weight. We'll see how the super glue holds up. Had to mill the brass inserts down to 62 grains to go with my 125 grain b-heads. Got all 6 within 1/2 grain of each other
So here's my first batch, with 2" Blazers

Here's a one with the weight-matched nock

Here's one with a lumenok. I got all 6 withing 1/2 grain of each other.
