Cutting Shafts
I bought a Adjustable Arrow Cut-Off Saw on a machined Jig, a 8000rpm motor clamps ect. I'm not sure the proper way to use it. I 've practiced on a junk shaft and if I clamp it in the jig it splinters the bottom of the shaft, if I roll it and cut it, it seems to work ok. How do you pro cutters attack the shaft? thanks jeff~
Re: Cutting Shafts
Set the blade so that it just has enough room to cut through the wall thickness, and twist the arrow. Do you have a small V-Block rest right by the blade?
It’s not the way you rock, it’s the way that you roll!
