Season opens here Sept 29th and I have a feeling I may have fresh tenderloins soon after that.
I'm guessing that may be a pair of twin yearlings. Tender & tasty!

Can you provide any proof that eating corn has a detrimental effect on deer?
All I could find online was about cattle and it appears there's little difference in nutritional value.
The Internet is awash in websites that proclaim the nutritional benefits of ground beef from grass-fed cattle. However, researchers in Texas A&M University’s Department of Animal Science have published the only two research studies that actually compared the effects of ground beef from grass-fed cattle and traditional, grain-fed cattle on risk factors for cardiovascular disease (CVD) and type II diabetes in men. Was ground beef from grass-fed beef actually more healthful? No, the study found.
The only thing the game and fish boys harp on down here is wet/damp corn that will mold slightly and will jack up a whitetails digestive track, it don't bother turkeys and other critters. If'n yer feeders are dry let it fly!
