Matrix string question

Post by ijb »

When adjusting the brace height on my 380, I have noticed that the loops at the ends of the string have a bend that matches the channels in the limb tips. I assume this develops due to the tension of the string on the limb tips. Is there any benefit or downside to reversing the loops on occasion so that the bend is reversed?

If you reverse it it also helps the center serving wear( claws on the other side now). Swap it ever hundred shots or so.

Wax those loops when you have it off as well. Often missed but needs wax.
