This is my 16 your old daughter Emily. She has been struggling with a drug addiction problem and has run away from home. I am not typically a praying man but I feel the need now - please pray. Did not know where to post this so if inappropriate mods feel free to do whatever.

Dear Father , we come to you with a burden that is on our brother's heart. Lord, please bring Emily home to her family as her family is heartbroken over her ways Father. Father remove this addiction from her. Let her see that there is no solace in rebellion and drugs. Father our brother is heart broken over this.

Lord put a hedge of protection around Emily each and every day. Keep her from the enemy. Soften her heart to receive Your Word. May Your Light begin to shine upon her and her family so that she knows Your Ways are the only Ways. Lord put Your angels in her path each day.

Father, we know that nothing happens that has not passed through Your hands first. We know that Your will will be accomplished in not only Emily's precious life but the life of our brother and his family.

Lord each of us knows the heartache of a wayward child. We are as happy as a parent as our least happy child. We have seen your mercies in the return of the prodigal son and ask the same here. We know Lord that upon her return her family will accept her with open arms.

Finally Father God, give our brother and his family the peace that passes all understanding in this trying time that they might surely know that You Are God.
