Tact Zone illumination question

Post by Kegbelly »

Should the chevrons light up enough to see in daylight like a regular red dot type scope? In low light mine is fine but I was having trouble seeing the black chevrons against the black silhouette dots on my rinehart so I turned the scope on, but it's not bright enough to see in daylight. Just wondered if it was supposed to be like that.

better chance with the red than the green light on. if you aim straight at daylight its hard to see but aiming at little shade I can see it

Mine did Keg. Check battery. Also, green was better in day light for me.

I'll put another battery in and try it again, but I've only turned it on a couple times so I thought the battery would be good. It was sunny that day, maybe they're not made to light up that bright. Not a big deal, just hard to see the tip of the chevrons against the black target.

Those chevrons are a little small for my eyes as well mine don't show up to well on a sunny day but it does fine on a cloudy day and it low light conditions.

They're made for low-light use. Green for early morning, red for evening. Or so the hand book says that came with my tact-zone. I can turn mine on full power and not see either color during the day in direct sunlight.
