Oooohhhh! Can't wait to hear all about this one. Before you begin Terry, I'd like to know the story leading up to the shot, what you used, where you hit it, how far it ranand the blood trail qquality and damage....and pics. Remember, many of us are living it vicariously through you.

Just finished butchering the bear. . And had a problem finding à place the ohone would work. We have had a doe with 3 cubs hitting this bait every day . The one I shot showed up on camera mid day sat. I went to the site at 2pm with a pail of slop a garbage bag of popcorn for the barrel ànd a 2 liter jug of frènch fry oil and fixed everything up. The tree satan is only 26 yards from the venter of à loving road so we can watch for moose walking it well watching the bait 20 yards in front . I finished and warped the jug in the garbage bag and threw it in the pail and carried it out under a pine tree near the exit do I would remember to pick it up . . This guy comes in early and I heard a huff and off he went then a while latter I heard something on the trail behind me an turncoat to find him broad sin day 26 yards . I moved do I cools draw the now and the stand made a noise and he went out of there like a rocket huffing all the way .i was sure I was screwed when a few min latter my pail thumped the ground . He had his head I. It and hot stuck he shook it off and ran I to the bush and I could hear him tearing up the bag . Little bit latter he's back licking out the pail and I ciudad not shoot him under the pine tree . crap screwed again . Then to my relief he headed to the bait . At 20 yards he turned perfect do I drew and pinked him with my compound and a bbe carnivore SMS 100 grain grizztrick . Dibble lunged him with a oase threw and drove the arrow 1/2 way into the ground . I could hear the air coming out as soon as he ran. Only made it 40 yards into the thick stuff and within 40 seconds from hitting him he was done . Picture on my personal Facebook if Simone can add a link I cànt do it with my phone . We have a cow working too us each morning do hope to poke her soon

I shot him right threw the heart and paced whete he cam to test 26 yards . Could not ask for a better dhot . He was the 5th bear we have taken from that same tree both Aaron my son and I rack took our first bear from it.
