Trigger problems "UPDATE"

Post by BrotherRon »

My trigger problems are not a concern at this time, so I have edited this post. :D

I'm not really overly concerned with it at this time. As long as it shoots and I am getting my practice in then I'm pretty happy. It's something I can work out after the season is over.
Thanks
Ron

Chances are you won't even think about the trigger, if and when that eight pointer walks in. Shot placement, shot placement JMO.

The travel & gritty feelingseems to be there on the Matrix models. I shot mine over 300 times & finally shipped it to Dan Miller.

Mine was great for almost a year, then it got gritty feeling. I would do the fix after filling the freezer as suggested.

have the same trouble with mine. got better with time , and it don't bother me at all . just squeeze it off and you will be fine. when that big one comes along trust me you won't worry about the trigger pull. :)

A crossbow is considered a primitive weapon Its not supposed to be a laser guided weapon Im not saying anything about your post Brother Ron I consider you as a good God fearing man But it seems like when people found out what good people were at Excalibur and if they complained they could get a free trigger job or compensation of some kind That's what drew me to a Crossbow was the challenge of getting close and the fact that its not always a given that you will kill something all the time Its like another means of Archery and a challenge and that is my draw to them :)

really the money we spend you think with all the complaints excal would address this issue.a lot more aggressive it should not be an ,extra cost for them to do the job right. never bought a rifle that i had to replace the trigger

The nice thing is knowing that they are constantly working to make improvements and are willing to stand behind what they make. The next time I talk to Dan Miller I will discus it with him and I'm sure we will get it taken care of. :D

Yes, we definitely spend a lot of money on our toys. Lately, especially since the Exo-series Excaliburs are being "sold for a song" on the Trading Post, the Matrix series seem to be expensive. However, for those who, like myself, have owned Excaliburs since the beginning, know that in reality they are more affordable now than back then. The price we pay now is for a complete "kit". Back then we bought the bare bow, then we added all the accessories piece by piece not realizing how much it added up.

I agree that dropping $770 - $1300 on a Matrix kit is a sizable amount. However, when compared to what the Tenpoints are selling for, one must admit that with Excaliburs we are getting a lot more bang for our buck.

I think we would have a lot more to complain about if we had to pay the prices listed on this site?
