Another Bradhead Question

Post by DaveShooter »

Are 100 Grain Mech broad heads too light for the Matrix crossbows say the 380 matrix. As I have some 1.75 Schawacker heads Thanks ???

I personally wouldn't shoot them with the Diablo 18 inch arrows I like a heavier setup than that. They would be fine with a heavier arrow such as a Black Eagle or Gold Tip or some of the other arrow combinations with a minimal weight close to 400 grns

How about the 20 " Magnum xx75 in alum shaft? Thought about cutting down some of those xx75's to 18" and testing haven't got the new 380 yet. Just runni9ng with some thoughts or ideas. Thanks-Dave

I think most guys that shoot 100 gr heads go with heavier brass inserts to keep a good balance and total weight well above 350 grains. Get a set of scales if you don't already have one, then you know exactly what you're working with. Mine got broke but while I was waiting for them to be repaired I got these, for the price they're fantastic, accuracy is very comparable to much more expensive scales.
