where to buy 18" B E Zombies

Post by Talltines »

Ok... unless I am nuts the places I have seen that sells them only has them in either 20 or 22 inch. I am looking for bare shafts. So where can I BUY them that are or can be cut to the 18" I am wanting?

Also how are you guys putting on your vanes? I was going to use my Arizona E Z fletch bolt with the right helical with offset. Is this good or do you have other recommendations?

I am also looking at picking up some GT Lazer IV pro's for a heavy option too. I like to play. But it seems I can't find these arrows in in the length I want.

I wouldn't mind having someone make what i want but not sure who to contact.

thanks

Brian

The AZ easy fletch bolt is a great fletching tool, several people here use it, myself included. 2" blazers with the extreme helical work very good with Excalibur crossbows.
I order my shafts straight from Black Eagle's website, and as fas as I know 20" is as short as they offer bare zombie shafts. It wouldn't hurt to email them and ask if they can cut them to 18". Otherwise you would have to find someone with an arrow saw or take them to an archery shop with a saw and get them to cut them to 18". BTW, make sure to remember inserts and whatever else you might need when you order. They process orders fast.
Big John on the forum makes great custom arrows but you'll have to check with him, I'm not sure if he is accepting orders at this time.

X3 on Southshore. 18" bare shaft, spine indexed - fletched with an Arizona EZ-fletch. 1" groups with all 12 at 40 yds. Very sweet.

....Brian....where are you located in Jersey?....I have a saw if you are close and can't get your arrows cut... not problem just come over and cut away...you can also square them up also....I purchase at 20" and cut them down myself...

I am from Fair Lawn! Just PM me!
