Hi all. I don't post much ,but I read alot. This forum has been helpful and informative in my crossbow choices. Thanks for that.

Today a harvested my first deer with a crossbow. It is a smallish doe,to be made into snack sticks. It was taken with my new Axiom.I was amazed at the devastation to this deer.I shot it at 10 yards and it fell dead in less than 30 yards. I was kind of disappointed that I didn't need my " mountain man " tracking skills. I did recover the bolt ,it was a clean pass through with a Boltcutter head .All in all a great day in the timber.

I just wanted to thank all of you that post your wisdom.Today you helped a rookie take his first crossbow deer.
