Left the house @ 5:30am for the 1.5hr drive to my ladder stand.

Started my walk to my ladder stand & bumped a deer on my way in again. Seems to happen every time I go in the morning. :(

Just settled in @ 7:30am & I see a buck in the beans 50yards out. Good to see I didn't spook him.

I let out 2 grunts from my caller & 1 min later this buck & his buddy came by to visit. He's not a big buck but I am 80% meat hunter & the steak I had tonight told me I made a wise choice... :)

Total tree stand time 5 min..

10 yard shot 20 yard recovery.

NAP 170gr FOC head, Big John Zombie slayer arrows, BOO custom flemish string,Matrix 355 black-out.

This is the 4th critter I have shot with the NAP 170gr FOC head & I will use no other head from now on. Devestating holes & short recovery for each of them.
