Got a call from a buddy last night to party hunt with him & 2 others since I filled my one & only buck tag on Wednesday of this week. This is the same bush that in 2012 I shot my last big buck in so I said "oh ya I'm in"!!

Arrived at the stand & settled in for the morning hunt.

A nice doe in the cut beans got my attention & I let outa few grunts. She was having none of that & left the area. At 8:20am I heard a deer coming from behind me & got ready. It was a big body buck & I stoped him with a grunt at 16 yards took aim & let the arrow fly. I seen it was a solid hit so I sent a text to my buddy that I may have one down.

Here is the impact site. Looks good!

We followed the amazing blood trail for 60 yards & here is what we found.

Once again the NAP 170gr FOC / Big John zombie slayer/Boo flemish string & Matrix 355 has allowed me to harvest another great deer.
