First M380 buck was a dandy!

Post by 884savage »

Last Thursday evening I shot this wonderful buck. I saw him on October 4th the day I'd mentioned a few weeks ago that I saw 29 deer. He was one of them. Thursday was the first time the wind was right for that set again, and he came down the same trail as before. I however, had moved 30 yards closer. He stood at a scrape for over a minute giving me plenty of time to range him, aim, and shoot. My Rage 2 blade ripped through both lungs, and he didn't make it 50 yards. He weighed 245 live weight and 212 dressed. I was quite tickled.

Wow, that buck has some serious tine length. It doesn't take long to call him a shooter. :) Congrats on a fine buck!

....cannot add anymore adjectives to what has been already said....other than I would need new boxers if that was in my scope....

Congrats!
