Deer # 4 hits the dirt

I was hunting early this morning when 2 does came out and one decides to walk right up to me and stands almost in the same spot where I killed my last one at a whole distance of about 12 yards. She angled away to pick up an acorn and the Excal with a Grizztrick punched another hole, she ran all about 30 yards and as you can see in one of the pics I got instant blood where the arrow came out. Its time to start buck hunting now. I checked my wife's trail cam at her stand this afternoon and she had 5 different bucks coming in and I got 4 pictures of 2 small bucks head to head doing a little sparring

My season started out slow losing some prime hunting land I think my 1st 10 sittings in the woods I only saw a couple of deer. I have 2 other leases that I've had for over 20 years and the other leases are paying off, I just had to do a lot of scouting because the acorns are very plentiful this year and the deer seemed to be scattered. God has blessed me again this year. Good luck to everyone and be safe.

Thanks Mike all I need now is a nice buck to add to the list.I may take one more adult doe with the Excal before Thanksgiving if the opportunity presents itself. I have 3 young grandsons that are itching to go I may have to go back to double ladder stand for a while.
