excalibur scope mount bracket
I recently installed a Nikon Bolt scope on my Exocet.I love the scope, very clear and bright.Although the scope has good eye relief ,the scope is short and I cannot mount it back far enough even with extended scope rings.I was looking at the Excalibur"s scope mounting bracket and noticed that the dovetails do not extend all the way to the rear of the bracket. If the dovetails ran the entire length of the bracket scope mounting problems as this would be eliminated. It seems like I've seen a bracket with the entire length dovetailed but can't remember where or which website. Can anyone Help?? Thanks, Wayne4

Re: excalibur scope mount bracket
The ADF bracket has rail which is slotted all way to back. That should be a solution to your problem.

Re: excalibur scope mount bracket
ADF = anti dry fire device. Excalibur part comes standard on all newer bows as far as I know it fits most older models. You should be able to buy from any Excalibur dealer and instal yourself.

This is your scope mount:

This is anti dry fire (ADF) scope mount:

You can usually find them where they sell Excalibur crossbows (it's an Excalibur product)

Re: excalibur scope mount bracket
I had this problem and to solve it I cut another grove into the rail to mount the Bolt all the way back on the rail. See picture.

With the scope in this position the eye relief is perfect for both my wife & me. I marked and cut the rail with it mounted on the CB. The rings I used are Weaver medium tactical. Here is a close up view:
