Antler assembly line (done!)

Post by ninepointer »

With the evenings long these days, I got on a bit of a roll this week. Two of mine from years past and two (the bigger ones) for a friend. They're just test assembled for now, to be taken apart for final sanding, stain and varnish. It keeps me home and out of the taverns and pinball parlours

Things got a bit busy over the holidays, but I finally finished them up last night.

These 2 went to a buddy. I sure hope I didn't cause any trouble, because as I was leaving his place the last words I heard his wife say to him were, "You can hang them in the garage, but you are NOT hanging them in this house!" I don't think she found my wise-crack about hanging them over the headboard to be very funny

These 2 are for me, and they might just go over top of the headboard! LOL

Those look good!
Very useful pieces of wall decor - I use them for everything from binocular (in the case) storage to pipe racks.
