Thanks Folks. It was a good season, passing up quite a few in order to absolutely Maximize my time out there!
As a consequence I got to spend over 40 days increasing my Education with these Critters, and that for me is Invaluable!
Even having hunted them for a considerably long period, I find they Always have something new to toss at ya.

One of the highlights I forgot to mention...

While working the mid-level one late morning, I found myself approaching a creek crossing that had shown a fair bit of sign the check before. Went into Stealth Mode on the approach, and suspected if anyone was there, they would be Right Point Blank when I topped the ridge. There was! A Five Point Bull Elk that is!!

He Panicked, I Panicked of course when he chose to run RIGHT AT ME in an effort to escape. Literally threw myself backwards, landing firmly on my ass (Thankfully no "pungi sticks" LOL!) as he roared by within touching distance! After he passed me, he paused, then using his antlers, cleared a way into Dog Hair so thick I could not have imagined a rabbit getting through!
Shook for a few moments, checked my drawers (clean surprisingly but thankfully) and carried on.
Made for an Interesting Encounter that day!!

Cheers,
Nog
