NON EXCAL STRING RECOMMENDATIONS

OK,,,let me first say I am an Excal owner and advocate all the way,,hopefully planning to add to my stable before next season(310/330),,,I recently came across a deal I just could not pass up on a ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,dare I say,,,,,,, aaaaa,,HORTON ,,before becoming a part of the Excal community I shot Hortons and they served me very well.This model is the highly liked,, TRT ULTRA-LITE EXPRESS and it needs a string and cable assembly ,,so I am wanting to tap into the vast amount of experience within this group on what I should go with
DELTA FORCE(made with rhino)
BLACKHEART
60 X CUSTOM
VIPER-X(I believe to be the original supplier to Horton)
OTHER????

I used ViperX on my Strikeforce. Very good string, IMO .

I look for durability above all,,as far a speed,,this bow has plenty ..look forward to experimenting a bit with some arrows

im not bashing your bow and I hope you fair well with it but they are out of business and you cant get parts.. least that's what I heard .

Yes they are out of businesss,,,so is Alfa Romeo,Triumph and Oldsmobile,,but you can still get parts for them,,,I am pretty sure there are plenty of members here that have owned compound X-bows at one time,,,I am just lookin for some opinions concerning strings,,,I value the opinions of the members here,,,

I haven't owned a Blackheart but have heard from anudder Forum they were a decent string.

I owned a Horton...what a fiasco. It spent more time in for repairs then it did in The woods. I hope you have better luck than me! eBay has TONS of Horton parts so I'd buy up two of whatever you think you'll need.

Re: strings. I'd go with the premium Viper-X.

Just received this bow today,,,pretty good shape,,$100.00 TMD,,,Viper-X Premium looks like it will "fill the bill"...
