A great day yesterday (my wifes first deer)

Post by Patriot* »

I just wanted to share a photo of my wife and her first deer, a young doe. This is her very first year hunting and I am so very proud of her. She has practiced over and over with her Axiom 305, with it dialed in early yesterday she made it happen. With the season closing here in Western NC today, now she does not have to wait the entire year with thoughts of what could have been. This will finish out our year being blessed with (6) deer total. We are so happy to be a part of this forum and the Excalibur family. She is hooked on white tail and to my surprise purchased a full size a Glen Del buck yesterday to continue off season practice. Ladies and Gents, I am a very lucky man. Thank you all again for the knowledge passed on in this forum.
A special thanks to "Eric"-aka- Hester0305 a member here who has provided a wealth of Excalibur crossbow knowledge and advice to Kathy and I. You won't find a better man or fellow hunter.

Happy New Year to all,
Dave and Kathy
