Brass marks On Rail
I ended up with brass marks (from the rollers on the C2) on the sides of the rail on my new Micro. Anyone know how to remove these marks? Or am I forced to leave them as a reminder of my screw-up.

Re: Brass marks On Rail
I dont know if it will hurt the anodized rail but maybe a little bore cleaner that removes copper? Test it first.

Re: Brass marks On Rail
Don't get bore cleaner on your rail it is very alkaline and will mark up your rail for sure..... especially if you scrub it...

try a little WD40 it won't hurt anything .
Re: Brass marks On Rail
I'd say leave it because it adds character and trying to remove it may make it appear worse.

Re: Brass marks On Rail
remington rem oil,its got a cleaner that will hurt nothing to your rail, been using it/and wd-40 for years, rail looks new still.if it didnt scratch it in the rail the rem oil may do the trick, has taken marks off mine before, leaving it looking great...its worth a shot.
