diy camo dip

Post by munch »

after a lot of thinking ive decided to do my own camo dipping .i have a local shop that was doing them for me but hes a 35 minute drive one way to drop things off then return days latter to pick them up just not convenient and it adds time to complete mounts for fellows . rob has been good enough to sell me the material i need to do it myself as well as teach me how to do it. i had watched the diy videos of the kits you can by and think most guys would use the total kit before they got the results they are looking for. ive worked every night this past week trying to perfect it and most of today before coming up with the mount in the pictures below. the price for camo dip will stay the same but with any luck if you prefer camo it should not take more than a couple days to find time to dip one munch

That looks great, Munch. What pattern is it? Looks like it would match Xtra nicely.

the pattern is just a generic brand forest camo .it looks not bad . i think to buy the real tree camo the cost would be to high .

Hey Terry, can we get an image of an open pick up truck and then dip Newbie in the tank so he has an open tail gate on his butt?
Seriously though, it looks cool! I want to try my hand at it too!

Great job as always, do they make a pink kit? Gena sent her bear skull away and it came back looking crappy. Want to get it done right for her. :D

Looks great, sir.
I have a black Baretta shotgun, I have always wanted to have it dipped.
You have an eye for detail, a steady hand, and would like to have you do this dip for me, if you are interested.

Dave
dave ive sold lots of the camo mounts in the past. i did have an issue with one that i replaced i think had oil of something on it before it was dipped by the shop that was doing them for me . they will be primed and base coat automotive paint and sealer so should hold up as well as any camo dip .just a heads up i was expecting the new micro and matrix mounts last week but they did not get them cut . if i recieve them this week i will do my best to get all the ones people have spoken for done and shipped out. i'm at mother natures mercy right now as i operate a snow plow. last weel was 78 hours so not much time left for other things
