I want to handle a Micro.

Post by ohioexocetfan »

Any shops around NW Ohio / SE Michigan have a Micro that I can handle before I take the plunge? I've got a 10 year old Exocet and I guess I'm thinking about an upgrade for next fall. :D Thanks folks! Jeff

Not a huge risk to just buy one unseen....I did. You can trust the reviews of the folks on here

That is a sweet WT in your avatar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I completely lost focus of what you were asking lol................sorry can't help. None in the whole province of Alberta to look at either......I suspect many have bought unseen.

I too am planning on buying a new excalibur to replace a 10 year old Exocet. It will either be a 330 or 335. I've handled and cocked a 330 but no one near me has a 335. I want to cock a 335 for myself. I've seen videos of it being cocked but I really want to cock it for myself. I really want the 335 but I just need to be sure before spending that kind of money.

Probably a long shot but if you ever get up to Tennessee, there is a dealer in Cookeville that has them. You can cock and shoot one there.

I'm in Perry. Sold my 2004 Exocet today with 21 arrows. Got 500 bucks for it. Not bad since I had it 10 years. Got to make up my mind on which to buy. Taking my time. Hope to see a micro somewhere before to long.

A friend came over and saw mine..didn't even shoot it.....he has an older excal. (not sure what model)

I got a text a couple weeks later with him saying..."this micro isn't even fair! Just smoked a doe at 40"

Turns out he ordered one as soon as he got home!

I find cocking the micro is not hard at all. The stroke is so short that before it gets difficult it is cocked. I have been shooting targets and I can draw it back over and over with no problem.

that puts us too far away :(
I have owned and hunted with 5 Excalibur xbows and the Micro is definitely the winner for me. I love the compact size and weight ..the power is way more that ill ever need . unless you just want the biggest baddest (405) then the Micro is the way to go.
