Anthony, and Vixenmaster have me trying them this fall, and I'm not a fan of mechanical heads. These however seem to fit the bill in terms of accuracy, and the locking clip that holds the blades closed seems very robust! I did go on Youtube and watch some video footage of these, and FOC. I might give the FOC a try on the 355 Matrix, but I would have to do a lot of work on arrows. There is a long list of good ones, fixed, and mechanical style, most of them will do the job!
If you have a Dick's Sporting Goods nearby, they are the only place that offers 4 blades in the pack for the 3 pack price, Thanks Anthony!
Good luck, if you ask 100 people, you might get 50 answers!

This year I switched to Slick Trick Magnums but I'm not thrilled about all the screwing around to get them straight. The broadhead I used in the past and might go back to is the G5 Striker. In my 405 the 125 1.5" Magnum is capable of just over 1.5" at 40 yards. They are also available in 1 1/16" in 100 and 125 gr versions. The standard Strikers are the most accurate and without a doubt, sharpest broadhead I've shot, shooting less than 1" at 50.

I'm using 125 grain 4-blade Magnus Stingers on my 380 with great results (after a lot of tuning), getting great groups out to 50 yards and got two shots and two kills with them this season, both were short recoveries.
That said, I'm impressed with what I've seen of the FOC and I'm debating on trying those out. Had bad experiences with mechanicals years ago and it's hard to get past that, although I know they're much improved now, just a mental thing

Shooting 100gr Toxic Broadheads out of my M380. 2"Blazers, 92gr brass inserts, plastic nocks, 18" Zombies. 1 deer and 8 Russian Boars. Nothing over 60yards recovery and 1" - 1 1/2" spots out to 65yards. Also had great accuracy with slick tricks and qud exodus.

Been running 125 grain Spitfires from my 380 for two years now.
Between them and the brass inserts, they well balance the Luminocks (don't think I'll be running without those ever again  ).
They fly extremely close to my target heads of the same weight, and have produced groups down to 1.5 inches out to 80 yards.
More than pleased with their results on game. Good blood trails and short recoveries thus far.

That said, I have been paying careful attention to Paul's experiences with the Toxics. Now that they have them in a 125 grain head, methinks I will soon be giving them a test spin myself...

Cheers,
Nog

I'm using 19" zombies, lumenocks and brass inserts with 125 gr Toxics. I'm with Paul, they are accurate and provide a lot of damage. My target block will ever be the same!

I am currently shooting a combo of zombies, 92gr brass inserts, and slick trick magnum's with great results (1" at 50 yards) and two deer down with them this year. But after SEW's review I am going to do a build and try the FOC's next year. Good luck
