Micro users. :)

Post by Asking Bowman5 »

Hello. I have a few questions about the micros 335 if ya"ll don't mind. :)
How hard is it to load? im a pretty average person and pretty atheletic, but 270 lbs seems a little much. I need something that I can shoot for long periods of time. (20-30 mins.)
I don't need the 405 or 380, no need for that fast a bow. looking at the micro and the 355. The micro is light, short, fast, and durable. But the 355 has less draw, and faster. what do you guys think? Last decision before purchase.

When cocking,....before it starts to suck...it clicks.. My 380 seems harder to cock.

well for me its the matrix 355 hands down, But many here will say the micro, Like said before try and get to a place were you get some hands on both.. And decide, its a lot of money either way. Make sure before you buy, there is no exchange policy that I know of. sure get the advice from all. but in the end you are the one that needs to make that final decision and hands on don't get any better..But what ever you decide let us know once its in your hand.. smile....Good luck...

X2 but i thought that about my 355. To me with the short stroke its easier.

I didn't think so at first, but after my second day of shooting it, I would now classify the Micro as 'Easy to cock'.

I think your height makes a big difference, I am above average height and the Micro really loads up on my lower back when I am bent over. The 380 and 405 I shot latched when I was more upright and don't bother my back as much. My 330 is my favorite though.

What you NEED to do is go and load one for yourself to experience it,,,a while back ago I went shootin with Riflemanz,,he has a 355,,,he let me pull it and shoot it,,,and just this last weekend I went to my local Cabela's and pulled back a Micro,,,,I pulled it back ok,,but for me it was a strain,,I'm strong,,and short,,but I have a back issue, :( ,unfortunately,),,anyway,,Riflemanz 355 loaded/pulled easier for me from what I can remember,,,I then pulled back and handled the new Grizzly,,,thats my next Excal  ,,,good luck with your decision

To me, if it's down to a Matrix 355 and a Micro 335, it's the Micro hands down. Here's why:

1-Micro has ADF
2-Micro has REDS
3-Micro has cheekpiece
4-Hot Micros shoot almost as fast as a Matrix 355
5-Micros are lighter, narrower, shorter and have a higher resale value

I like the matrix bows, but to me the 355 is a model that is squeezed a bit by the 380 which comes in a better package and the Micro 335 that also comes in a better package.

I had a 380 and micro at the same time . I couldn't tell any difference in cocking the two .... After one trip hunting with the micro , out in the brush, I knew the Micro was the bow fer me . Everyone chooses their own model !
