How Much Difference Wil An Inch And A Half Make?

How much difference besides the slight weight loss would an inch and a half make?

The reason I'm asking is that with my current setup (16 1/2in BEE's) combined with my Grim Reaper Broadheads, the tip of the broadhead is almost sticking out past the stirrups outside edge.

What I'm thinking about doing is getting the BEE'S cut down to 15in that way the broadhead is then within the stirrup.

If i were to go this route, would it change arrow flight, characteristics etc other then POI due to the roughly 1 4-15 Gr weight loss from the inch and half length difference?

My current set up is 16 1/2 BEE's, 110Gr Brass inserts, 39Gr Ignitor nocks, Blazer vanes and 100Gr points/broadheads= Total weight 421Gr

If I cut them down to 15 in the weight will be roughly 407Gr

You'll be fine. I shoot 15" 92 grain inserts, 100 grain heads total 358 grain

Ok...it was suppossed to be 15in not 15 1/2 in and I am using 110 brass inserts. Still good?

ok ..on a serious note. I think youll find 15" will work well.
that's what I cut mine down to and so far so good ..I love the short arrows!
im sure you POI will change but not much but if it does then you just adjust and move ahead.

Strum is right. I have been messing with 16", 15.5" and 15" and 92 and 110 gr inserts. All fly well, it's just a matter of fine tuning, which will take all summer.
