Limb Deflection

Post by Sloppy Does »

Recently I added airbrakes to my 380 and the limbs numbers were 91. Today I added them to my Micro, had to hacksaw all four limb bolts :? Any way the Micro limb numbers were 32.5 and 33. What do you think of those numbers and what are yours if you know them ? I don't have a chrony but both seem fast to me.

Your 380 has low deflection, 91# is probably the lowest I have heard of.

Your Micro has smoking hot limbs. The earlier limbs were two digit like yours, for some reason the newer limbs have a 3-digit index. (ie. my limbs say 133 where yours say 33).

Would these be considered hot limbs?

A little alcohol and a sharpie and you could make yourself some real fast ones! What are you tinkering with, Jeff? Are those 405 limbs? Must be keeping you busy because you haven't been posting much!

For a Matrix, I consider anything over 100 to be stout. I really noticed a difference going from low 90s to 106.5. You should have no trouble getting advertised speed with those 100 pounders.

I do have a project bow in the works. :)

I have been gathering some matrix parts where I can & will have one custom killing machine hopefully in time for Turkey. One last piece of the puzzle will be a TT single stage trigger & of course a red lever. I am going to be posting some Matrix parting out goodies to fund the TT very soon. & oh ya once the bow is done I will post a pic of it too (Mossy oak tree stand is my favourite camo)... :)

Have my 380 in a lot of piece's right now as I'm trading out all or most of my rusted bolt's for stainless or some fancy titanium? Due to my neglect ! Didn't like the look of orange on black  My limb's both said 102 ? Was never a concern mine but was neat to see when I finally got all those rusted one's out. Rust= nature's lock tight.
