MO get together - Shootouts

We have set the date for The weekend of MAY 8 th. I will be up the week before setting up if anyone wants to come early for some fishing , hog hunting , or target practice . Makenna is threatening another SPANKING for any gray beards who want a rematch from TexFest. :lol: it will be held at lake Wappappello near Poplar Bluff. All welcome !

Sounds like fun... But its out there. Pictures and stories will sure be nice, looks like a beautiful area from google.......

Wahooooo we be comin to it n we will be there a few days early. Will do abit of fishin n what ever else i can get into. Oh yeah seems Murphy messed up me scope, so i will go to plans b & C n D! I will tell y'all i am sittin at work table watchin it Snow! I be gettin tired of that stuff, but it has snowed here in late April n early May. :(

Well if'en one of my varizones ever bites the dust. I will get Danny to upgrade to the Leupoldif'en he carrys the Crossbones. Will pay the diff n shoot wid all of you :)

That sounds like a good time and a great idea. With the crazy weather this year, the big question is do we pack shorts, rain coats or snow suits? :D

It would be about the same distance for me, I've got plenty of skeeter & tick repellent, and that lake looks very nice...Bet there is some good bass fishing, and I just tuned up the motor on my bay boat, its a long haul, sure would be nice..........

Where at Wappapella ? Don't know if I can drive that far: it's at least 36-38 miles from my house to the State Park.
