O/T Recurve string help

I only shot them back durin my time never made strings fer them. I have a stringfer MT Yeti its 54" in length n center is 27" what would be a good center servin length ? 5-8"

On my bear and black widow bows, center serving is any where from the 5 to 8 in. you mention

I like about 7" with 2½" above the nocking point and 4½" below it. I also like the top loop big enough to go over the top limb when the bow is not strung.
I make the string and put it on the bow before serving it, though. Then all I need to do is snap a square on the string to fine the nocking point.
If you don't have the bow in hand, maybe he could get the measurements off an old string for you.

Don't know if they are proportionate or whatever.

My recurve takes a 60" string (64" bow).

The serving is 8" - 2" above the nock.

I just make sure to serve the string down to the bottom of the grip. Protects the string against arm slap. I'm obviously a noob but thought it was good advice and works well for me.
