I have the same problem however Our season starts May 4th. Which becomes a bigger problem for me. I will be flying to Colorado May 3rd for the week for work. I return late Friday night. Which would have given me the ability to hunt Saturday but the future daughter in law decides to have her bridal shower during turkey season on May 9th at 1 PM. Really she knows hunting seasons are off limits. I am going to try to go out early in the morning and may go to the shower in my hunting clothes. :) I was informed I could not wear a camo dress for the wedding. My son said go for it. She however has no sense of humor.

As long as turkey on the brain turns into turkey in the stomach.
Brings up a question, does wild turkey taste any different ? Is the white meat still white ?

When you find me a cure, let me know because I have it bad! My kids youth hunt starts on the 11th and I am more excited than them!

I gotta check the laws. Talked to a sheriff' deputy yesterday and he said he has seen turkey right across the road from me on the County property. Couple years ago they were on my property.

My problem started in 1979 and it got worse every year after that. There is no cure for it!!

Unless it's of course: " do I shoot the one on the left or on the right"

UH-OH. I checked Ohio turkey laws and there is no fall season just a spring season in this county. Go one county east and its OK. Most of the eastern part of the state is OK. For many reasons I do not live in the right part of the country and I am to old to move.
