Matrix 355 & a Varizone Scope

Post by vixenmaster »

I put it on Marie Laveau so i can be gettin ready fer the Mo. Gatherin. I got it shootin 3/4" high at 20 yds jus in case a varmit is a few yds past my est. I had speed ring all maxed out. Shot it at 30 yds n it were almost an inch high. 40 yds was 1 1/4" high, 50 yds was jus shy of 2" high. Its usable but not ideal, fer deer n hogs n such. If'en you nit picky it maynot be yer cup of coffee.

I'll have to site mine in with the Varizone and my 20" 432gr arrows and see how it shoots.

Good thinking Fuzzy! if you can,t match your scope to your arrows , match your arrows to your scope. I will just add a slug that weighs the right amount to get my my arrows to hit with the icons. No brain here

Did you try dropping down the 3/4" high at 20 and see where your farther arrows are hitting?

Seems to me it would be close to spot on.

I bet if you swapped out that 100 grain tip for one in 125 grains you'd be right where you wanna be.
