Microed a MI Monster!

Post by Spike Country »

Well my MI spring season ended in about 5 minutes after sunrise. Hens came down and walked two nice toms right by me, so I picked the bigger of the two and left one fly. Couldn't believe how nice he was when I got to him, 25lbs, 11 inch beard, 1 1/2 inch spurs. My best bird ever!

.....I knew it...the birds, like the deer just walk their way right down to see the Excalibur line and consider it an honor to be taken by one of them...and with the Nightmare to boot...great job! and great image Spike Country....

Thanks everyone! The only bad thing is MI has a one bird limit in the spring but in the fall I can buy over 60 tags in my area. Just make no sense to me. :(

Tremendous bird! Some day maybe I'll have the nerve to hunt spring turkeys with my crossbow. It's tough enough with a shotgun! By the way, I love your slogan at the bottom of your post. I'm a meat hunter too and your bird will provide a lot of meat!
