A first for us in 3D

Post by TPM »

We had a squad of four at the 3D shoot we shot today. Typically in a shoot for one person to hit the 12 ring on a particular target is not unusual. For two to hit it on the same target is a bit of a novelty. Today we had a first, all four shooters, including our 10 year old son, managed to drop them in on the same target! It was a Kodak moment. Vixchix took the pic so she's not in it. Great "icing on the cake" in what what was a good shoot all around. :D

Sorry Bob but we're waiting for you to come up to Boofest before we start splitting carbon. These four arrows were all unscathed. I think we only had one fletch shaved off today and of course the tree I hit sending my arrow into a black hole of a swamp.

Ya, Ben out grew his kid verticals and can quite handle the youth bows yet. We found this Barnett Phanton Jr recently and it's just the ticket for him right now. He's looking forward to showing it off at Boofest. :D

That there be some fine shooting. Seems to me that the last time I said that to Tim I was told that " even a blind squirrel can find a nut every now and then". I believe all the squirrels found the nut this time.

Congrads. I have one for grandkids to drag around. My red dot scope is worth more than the bow. Pretty good bows for the money. I had fun shooting it till I built my cut down Excalibur that hits a dime size spot everytime. CHEERS!

I see Moni's bolt is just a hair closer to the centre than the others.
