Lord Stanley's Cup

Post by UPSMAN »

Seeing as Lord Stanley's Cup won't be returning to its birthplace for another year, this ole Redneck would appreciate all the Canadian support we can muster for our Lightning. And y'all thought we were only known for our beaches and orange juice.   If we can bring the cup back to Tampa, then maybe we can get Excalibur to relocate to the land of Sunshine.  Thinking I might ask them if I could bring the cup to Boofest just so you guys can see it again.

Ummmmmmmmmmm

I think Tampa, or Florida would be a nice place to visit, but to live there, they do not have any moose to hunt.

Ummmmmmmmm, good job that us Canadians let Tampa have all those Canadian players to lead their team. 8)

But I do not care for either the other two teams, so I will cheer for Tampa.

..... In support of the birthplace of the first Excalibaby.... I would rather live in Canada before Florida.... Give me 4, maybe 3 seasons and I'm happy!

    Maybe I can drive across town and loan it to them. I'm sure that big Bishop would look awesome defending our goal while wearing it.

Ummmmmmmmmmm, now if Chicago wins, the cup might be closer too Boofest then you think as Bryan Bickell is from just around the corner from Boofest.

Here is my thoughts about this. I LOVE HOCKEY and am a huge Flyers fan so with full disclosure this is what I am doing.

I will be cheering for Tampa but hope the Hawks win.

You ask HUH!!

Well here is that explanation.

Braden Coburn is a long time Flyer and is now in Tampa. But!!!!!!!

Here is the kicker.

KIMMO Timminin or however you spell it is on the hawks. Kimmo is retiring after these last games while Braden Coburn has a lot more time to play.

So I can't cheer for the Hawks I just can't so that is why I will cheer for Tampa but hope the Hawks win.
