Easton bolts tips dont thread all the way through

I took the field tip out of my diablo bolt and screwed an extra long 8/32 screw to see if it will go all the way ( so i can screw weight ) and it stopped.just wondering is there another way to add weight or buy tips that are threaded all the way through. I hope this is understood as im new to crossbow hunting. Thanks

Run an 8-32 tap thru them.........

depending on how much weight you want to add there is also the option to put brass washers in the gap...they are 5gr each.

What's your goal? ie. what are you trying to accomplish?

If you want to add weight, skip the 5 gr washers and just go up 25 gr on your points. You won't notice any diff in poi out to 30 yds between 100gr and 125 gr's..........
