Taking apart Excalibur crossbows

Was wondering does it damage my crossbow by taking it apart multiple times,don,t want to damage it ! Thanks a lot Ron! the deer skinner

If you are talking about removing the riser and limbs it won't hurt a thing. Other parts should be checked regularly for any loose screws. Some will have blue loctite applied to the threads to keep them from working loose. Study the instructional videos here on this site, as well as the one you got with your crossbow. This is a good place to learn and the members here are more than willing to help :)

Thats what I was refering to. I was going on vacation next week and wanting to put it in my safe,I needed to take the limbs off ! Thanks !

Take it apart in confidence by removing the riser to mainframe screws for storage. POI is not affected.

Here's a tip........If you loc-tite your stock-to-rail screws, chase the threads w/ a steel nut prior to assembling your xbow.

The old loc-tite build up doesn't go well w/ rail threaded holes..... :mrgreen:
