Yep -

Outdoors card was 6 bucks (plus $1 "convenience fee)
Small Game tag - $25.15
Turkey Tag (spring) - $29.19
Moose Tag - $55.70
Deer Tag - $48.43
Bear Tag - $48.43

So $207.90 later, not counting the fishing licence cost, or the fall turkey if I go, I almost could have bought a side of beef, stayed home and had a big BBQ

Moose tags only suitable for framing with the new restrictions. It killed our moose gang. OFAH not much help. Totally disgusted with state of moose management or lack thereof.

Made my donation to the moose tag $57.96 after the new $2.00 service fee and tax. We are going with an outfitter this year so we already know we got a bull tag. Now to get deer and bear tag, another $100.

....ah....but we all know that that is not the comparison....$207.90 versus lifetime psychiatric care is the real comparison. Only sportsman understand the peace and serenity that they need and get by just being out there with a hunting/fishing implement is as they say......"PRICELSSS!" The harvesting of the animal or catching of a fish is only the icing on the cake....

Anthony,

you should delete that post.

If anyone from the government reads that and figures that we are getting some mental health benefits from hunting they will no doubt tack on a "healthcare fee component" to the licences - easily tripling the cost overnight

....what do you mean? They don't include a healthcare fee component in your license structure?...In NJ we have a "colonoscopy" component...every time we purchase a license, zone permit, stamp, buck tag, etcetera you feel like you are getting it right up the_ _ _!
