Updated: Titanium Fastener Kits Now Available

Post by racking up points »

Ti64.com and I, in consultation with Danny Miller have been working on putting together Titanium fastener kits for Excalibur bows. The benefits of titanium are many but chiefly among them is corrosion resistance, stripping resistance and less weight. I have yet to test a kit, but I suspect you could shave 1/3 - 1/2 a pound off your bow.

Here is what is being offered:

-ti64.com will do online sales, (choose the package you want but read them carefully and double check your fastener lengths against the packages they have listed)
-a certain guru from Ohio will also do the sales, shipping and customer service
-he has given his feedback to improve all of the fasteners that have proven troublesome
-Matrix, Micros and Exos for fastener kits
-seperate hardware packages for limb straps on DB bars or Air Brakes
-all fasteners will be made for the Micro and Matrix series, except: cheekpiece screw, ADF fasteners, quiver mount fasteners
-here is what you'll get in all packages. Fasteners for: stirrup, limb straps, limb-riser, riser-mainframe, stock-mainframe, scope rail, trigger block-mainframe
-prices vary but will be affordable, and much cheaper than replacing them à la carte

Derrick has taken time out of his busy schedule to facilitate this Custom fastener project with ti.64, a custom titanium hardware company producing fasteners mostly for the Automotive World.
Ti.64 titanium hardware remove almost 50% of the fastener weight compared to the factory steel pieces and the anti rust factor should not be overlooked.
Thanks Derrick!

Awesome idea Derrick! You know I'm on board because I didn't have the patience to wait. Living on the Wet Coast of B.C. the anti corrosion factor was HUGE for me and strength a close second. Thanks for spearheading this and all your time, effort, and expense. This is a great upgrade for every bow.

This is a great idea. I typically hunt all day in all weather conditions including light rain and have had rusty screws I had to replace..

I'm in for two Micro kits when they are available..

....Derrick, first of all thank you for your time and effort...

....I have already begun the "ala carting" on our arsenal...but would probably pick up 4-6 sets anyway for a reasonable price....

thanks again,

Anthony :)

I'd take a set for a matrix as I have enough rusted bolt's and screw's that I just call nature's locktite now??
