Newbie the end result looks mouth watering... I 'm from Fla, and do a lot of fishing, but i can't make out what kind of fish ya'll caught? Know we don't have have them swimming around here. They look close to our salt water trout, are they walleye? Any how bet they eat good.......

launched in leamington Terry. went out half mile trolled few miles out then came back in out of the wind and trolled more. Not sure how big I'm going to guess 19 ft maybe Derrick will correct me. Picture is deceiving it's a big roomy boat.

The smaller ones are better eating anyway.
I usually don't keep walleyes over 20" unless they are big enough for a mount.
I prefer 16" - 18" for eating :)

Mike, it's been my pleasure getting to know you and Amy and each time you guys come down, the fishing seems to get better and better so that's just a bonus. It's going to be tough to top this trip though!

Mike, the end result looks delicious but an Evian? Really? Where's your cold beer, buddy?

Terry, I run a 20ft Crestliner John boat with an 8ft beam. It's a river boat for sure, I have to be choosey about my days on the lake. On this particular day, point pelee was a natural buffer against a steady east wind, we fished the western basin, about 4 miles from Leamington harbour. The fishing is unreal right now and it'll only get better over the next month or two.

There are few experiences in life more enjoyable than sharing our love for the outdoors with others.

Maybe make it down one day . I have a 19.5 foot boat I fish the lake gor perch. Tried pickeral last year but did not do so good rigging . Think I would prefer your stile of fishing but just have no idea where to start. Fished twice down this way for perch and cleaned 79.25lbs of filets

Terry I've rigged used lead core divers etc and by far bottom bouncing in my favorite method by far for open water. Easy to set up with minimal investment.

Derrick you are a true gentleman. Sharing the amazing fishery that surround you with is a joy every time we come up. Yup it will be hard to top this one, it's a day we won't forget anytime soon, the bounty is just a by product of great people sharing good times on the water.
Beer? I had to cut calories somewhere and it darn sure wasn't anything else on that plate!
