Hunter orange/ New muzzleloader season

Post by Camper »

I know this is a little off topic but during the new muzzleloader season for WMU 66a and 67 (southeaster Ontario) do you need to wear hunter orange ?? Maybe I did not read the regulations right ???

Thanks

I could be mistaken but as far as I can tell hunter orange is required for all big-game hunting involving firearms (rifles, shotguns, muzzleloaders). And during any big-game season that allows both archery and firearms concurrently archery hunters must also wear orange.

I believe the one exception is for bear hunter who once on stand over looking a bait station can remove their orange, regardless of what they are using.
