Richard/falcon/trolls

Post by chris4570 »

I don't like trolls anymore then the rest of you folks. Falcon was obvious from the get go.

Is Richard a troll? I don't know. Other than his intitial topic crossbow vs rifle, which to the uninformed could very well be a legitimate question, what other comments have been made to suggest that he is a troll. I think we should give him the benefit of the doubt. Maybe I'm naive. But how many times has your initial impressions of someone been different then how you think of them now?

We're all guilty of judging others, to a greater or lesser extent. Sometimes we are right sometimes we are wrong.

If I were a troll and had viewed this forum for a week, I could come in and write some BS to piss everyone off and sign it as Richard because there is a feeling that he is.

Time will tell.

Your right Chris! I knew Falcon was a troll from the get go. But I still like to reinforce views on the sport of shooting Xbows. In the future I just won't answer any more stupid threads on controversal topics.

The Richard that asked about rifle vs. crossbow is a different person than Falcon. He has posted since and is a guy with legitimate questions. He's not "The Troll" and has said so. Please reread the posts.

Newbi,

I too feel that Richard is not a troll, hence the reason for this thread. I have read a few too many post where Richard was the "guilty one". And don't think it is fair.

I've seen it in person where the new employee is the "guilty one" if something goes missing (persumed stolen) because we don't know anything about them. Everyone saying they must have done it when......blah, blah, blah. Only to find out later that the missing item was just misplaced.

Please let me say something:

First I want to thank the people in this forum who give me a chance and who trust my words that I'm not a troll.
I never said anything against crossbows and I didn't join this forum to make trouble.
But I see that my question about rifles and crossbows must have been very stupid...
I just didn't know much about crossbows and wanted to ask if you can compare it in any way with a gun or a rifle.
Yes, the question was very stupid but if I were a troll I wouldn't defend myself, I would just change the name and ask another stupid question or provocate people.
But I didn't!
Unfortunally then came Falcon who signed as "Richard"...
So I understand everyone who is in doubt but maybe an admin (Barbara?) can compare the ip's, I swear that I'm not Falcon!
It was all bad luck for me to ask a stupid question, then a guest wrote a bad post, signed as "Richard", and then came Falcon...
But I didn't do anything bad. The people in my thread told me to sign up or leave and so I signed up as Richard.

So I want to thank the people who trust me and if I can stay in the forum you will see that I'm just a very interested fan of crossbows who is ready to learn!

okay !!! Now.....
Welcome Richard the "Newbi"
Now listen to this Richard... We all are guilty of asking novice questions at some time or another, but don't worry the guys on this forum are real hunting professionals....Each can help you in some way and we all try to work together for the benefit of the crossbow sport...

Excalibur is the best crossbow made and we all like to have folks that appreciate and want to use them..

Now go and Buy and Excal and kill something, make it a dead "Falcon"!

I'm a little late on this thread, our computer went in for repairs Sat.

Richard I never for one minute thought you were a troll. It was more Falcon I was talking about. Please don't be slighted, and your questions aren't stupid, honestly.

Welcome aboard Richard, I'm sure we'll be hearing from you soon.

Take care, buddy!!!

Thanks again for welcome me! I'm so happy that so many people are so friendly to me!
I hope that I can give something back some day and I wish everyone of you all the best and hope that you'll always come home healthy from the hunt!

Soon my Excalibur will arrive and I'm proud to be "one of you"!

(I will report as soon as I get the bow and have shot the first bolts!)

Thanks again,

Richard
