I have a few made of 4"pvc pipe with a 45% on the bottom. I put a screen on the bottom of the 45 to let out all the moisture. Works well. It's a good idea to install it so you can take it down easily to fill it. I also have a cap screwed on the top to keep critters and rain water out. Spread some feed on the ground to attract them. Best of luck.

I really like the idea of the upside down part of a soft drink bottle and I am going to try it on my Feeder.

No I don't--but I will try and get one. I am only5 ft. 7 inches with my boots on; .so I have it hung so that I can fill from ground level .First I drill a hole
about 1 inch or so below filler cap which I use to hang on a nail pounded into the tree ; and use some clothesline wire (2or 3 pieces) to hold the feeder to the tree to help keep it on the tree and away from pests ( 4 legged).
It works well----The squirrels and raccoons and Blue jays just love it.

Awesome! I wish it was legal to bait here....and that I had time to get out there and hang some feeders. If I did I think I'd go with your first on, love it.

I live just over an hour away from my hunting spot, so my feeders are not really for baiting, but more to fill up a few times a year and put my camera on it just to see what deer are in the area to see if it's worth hunting in that spot.
